Anyssa Williams joins Evins’s Law Firm litigation team as an associate. She earned her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and law degree from Mercer University School of Law. Anyssa was a member of Mercer Law’s national mock trial team and mentoring program.
Anyssa has extensive experience in both federal and state courts. During law school Anyssa clerked for Judge Verda Colvin at the Bibb County Superior Court, Judge Yvette Miller at the Georgia Court of Appeals, Judge Salvia Fox at the Clayton County Juvenile Court, and at the United States Attorney’s Office in the Criminal Division. She also performed due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions in Home Depot’s legal department. Anyssa’s experience further includes researching and analyzing the law on complex issues and writing briefs for submission; analyzing and summarizing complicated legal documents, including contracts, and suggesting alterations to those documents.
Anyssa lives in Atlanta, Georgia. When she is not in the office working, Anyssa enjoys spending time with family, friends, and dog (Blaze).
